Fashion Cyphers enable fashion designers and other artists and practitioners to teach and work with various communities, fighting unemployment and other social issues through community engagement.

These workshops are mobile and occur on a monthly basis across East Africa, in Kasese, Kazo, Wakiso, Kawempe, Kisoro, Bwaise, Kamwokya, Gulu, Makerere, Kikoni, Nsambya, and Kitgum, in Uganda, and Gilgil in Kenya. The workshops target marginalised populations - from endangered tribes to young single mothers - who are most acutely affected by economic and environmental hardship, gender inequality, unemployment and conflict etc. To date, Fashion Cyphers have reached over 13,000 individuals.
"Fashion Cyphers are about joy, sharing, skill development, learning and community problem-solving."

In addition to sustainable fashion and craftsmanship, Fashion Cyphers often incorporate various artistic displays - such as dance, rap, painting, singing, and modelling - helping youth discover their hidden potential and encouraging their personal expression .
