In its address on fashion entrepreneurship and cultural heritage, IGC underscored the urgent need for cultural sensitivity in the conversation about the global sustainable fashion industry. With indigenous African practices often overlooked or miscredited, IGC advocated for recognition of the continent’s foundational role in sustainable fashion and its ongoing leadership in shaping the industry’s future.
